Why is our technology different?

Redbrick is not “something similar to clay” but a true red clay tennis court on a synthetic base; the use of real clay (specially produced) guarantees players a playing feel—both sliding and ball bounce—equivalent to a traditional clay court. The main advantage is definitely the great cost-effectiveness of maintenance thanks to minimal consumption of special red clay and a drastic reduction in water usage for irrigation. A quick pass of the drag mat is enough to make the court perfect and ready for play, even after rain.

The excellent playing characteristics are certified by the I.T.F. (International Tennis Federation), which, after specific tests, classified the playing surface in CATEGORY 1-SLOW, just like a traditional clay court.
Redbrick® is installed throughout Italy by highly specialized technicians.

1 Sottofondo

SUBBASE

Any type of existing playing surface is suitable for transformation with the Redbrick surface. For new constructions, it is sufficient to create a subbase in inert material, with no need for a concrete slab or asphalt layer.

2 Base

CARPET

After preparing the subbase, the red polypropylene fiber carpet Redbrick Base Carpet, approximately 15 mm thick, is laid. The UV-stabilized surface offers perfect drainage and high wear resistance.

3 Rifling

LINE MARKING

The court line marking is carried out according to the regulations of the Italian Tennis Federation. The Redbrick Line anti-slip polyurethane “gloss” finish ensures excellent visibility in all conditions and guarantees high durability.

4 Clay court

RED CLAY

In the first phase, the stabilizing and self-moisturizing infill Redbrick Sand Base is applied, followed by the full performance infill with the special red clay featuring selected composition and granulometry, Redbrick Fillcover.
